BAP1 tumour predisposition syndrome - current knowledge and experiences from a national referral center

Coen Bijns is a PhD student at the Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) under the supervision of Dr. Maartje Nielsen. His research focusses on the BAP1-tumor predisposition syndrome (BAP1-TPDS) and genetic mutations in uveal melanomas.

BAP1-TPDS is a rare hereditary cancer syndrome characterised by an increased risk to develop several malignancies, with a lifetime-risk estimated to be up to 85%. In this webinar, an overview of the current knowledge about BAP1-TPDS will be discussed. Furthermore, we will talk about our experiences as the national referral center for BAP1-TPDS patients.
