Mosaicism in oncogenetics

Janneke Schuurs-Hoeijmakers is a clinical geneticist in the department of Human Genetics in the Radboudumc, Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Here clinical and research focus is on improving identification and care of patients and families with genetic tumour risk syndromes.

Clinically relevant postzygotic mosaicism is a challenge to diagnose. In this webinar some background on mosaicism and examples of mosaicism in oncogenetics will be given, as well as the diagnostic challenges and pitfalls.
